We spent our first anniversary in MOA. We expected traffic since it’s labor day but thankfully, we didn’t encounter any. Thank God!

First we had lunch at Max’s. We ordered their classic chicken recipe, chicken sisig and clubhouse. 

Watched the avengers.

3 days without internet - I survive! Last (Good) Friday afternoon after our church activity, we immediately traveled to Calatagan, Batangas. It only took us about 2.5 hours to get there. When we got there, there was no electricity! It was so frustrating you know. We we’re so excited to see the beach but it was so dark. But it didn’t stop us from getting at least our feet wet. After an hour I think, the electricity went back but I was so tired to go for a swim so I just fixed myself and go to sleep.

The next morning, the beach was so beautiful that I cannot afford not to swim. We collected star fishes and sea shells.

There came a man selling lobster for 350 each.

Saturday afternoon, we traveled from Batangas to Tagaytay. It took us nearly 5 hours. :( Super heavy traffic.

We then stayed on this beautiful rest house few meters from picnic grove. (unfortunately, i forgot to take a picture of the place) We stayed there for 2 days. 

Monday morning, I met with my groupmates in thesis for a meeting. It was just a short one. We finalized our topic and to be honest, I’m really excited about it, “Spidertech Tape.” Right after, me and Jules had lunch at Mcdonalds. 

You know why, I want their apple pie! I’ve been craving for it for days. Boyflea originally want to go to ATC again and have apple pies at Banapple. But I refuse because we’ve been there twice last week. I give the mcdonald’s apple pie a 7/10. I took out the fillings and just ate the crust. lol.

Last satuday when he and his family went to MOA, he asked me what do I want. I said I want to Chef Tony’s popcorn! He gave me the list of flavors. I said I’m torn between White Choco Parmesan and the Belgian Butter, but choose the belgian butter instead. 

He bought both of them instead. Haha. Which is not so bad at all. 

White Chocolate parmesan is really good! Especially when you happen to get the yellow ones, they’re cheesy good!

Haven’t opened this one yet. I’ll tell you guys if it’s good next time. :)

Doom Shroom and Sun Shroom. We haven’t gotten over plants vs zombies yet. Hihi. He said it symbolizes us. And Of course, I’m the sun shroom. :)) And oh, he also gave dog biscuits for my babies. How thoughtful.

I feel bad because I don’t have anything to give him. Last week I cooked tuna pasta and tacos for him. Next na lang ulit, Jules bawi ako~

Something wrong with Bolt (the shih tzu). You see, 2 weeks ago I noticed something in Bolt’s left eye. There was a white spot on the his pupil. I doubt it was catarata because Bolt is just 9 months old. Something could have pricked his eyes. :( poor thing. I wish I could see his eyes as bright as this again. I would sometimes cry when I think about it.

That is me with Twinkle, my favorite. This photo was taken today. The vet said that Twinkle is obese and that she needs to lose 2 kilograms. The reason is when she got pregnant at that state, she could die. The truth, I don’t want twinkle to get pregnant. I don’t want to see her having a hard time carrying her baby for months. I just don’t want twinkle to feel that way. I just found out that our maid is only feeding her once a day. How cruel :( I tried to hide foods for her. I also noticed that since yesterday, twinkle is always coughing like she is chocking. She must’ve have taken something she should not because of too much hunger. :’( I feel bad for her. 

I love my dogs very much. I became so attached with them, because for them, I don’t feel so alone at times. I’m praying for them and I hope they do get well soon. 

After a week of sleepless nights, finally, I can sleep well tonight! I’ve been busy with school-related stuff all week— grand pracs, classes, pull-ups, and the biggest event of the week, our first time in the clinic. I’ve been wanting to write this post last Wednesday, but I was really that busy that I can’t even open my facebook account (it was that severe). I was assigned in GEAMH Trece, which is a public hospital. I felt really lucky that things sort of like went my way, and I thank God for it. Why?

- I was assigned in a not-so-far and not-so-near clinic. I wouldn’t want to be assigned in St. Dominic because it was too far and also wouldn’t want to be assigned in De Lasalle University Medical Center (UMC) because it doesn’t feel like I’m away from school.

- I was assigned in GEAMH with boyflea~ 

- The professors assigned to observe us were two of my favorites, Sir Floyd and Sir Xavier. We even had lunch together.

- I saw there Marielle, my cousin,who is having her duty as a student nurse. I don’t feel so alone (?)

- My first patient is really kind. She has osteoarthritis on both of her knees. Although, she noticed that I’m just a student, and it’s pretty obvious that it’s my first time handling a patient, she didn’t make me feel inferior or insulted me in any way (i imagine it would turn out something like that :P)

-The staffs are really nice. On our last day, we gave them small token of appreciation, DONUTS. :)

Thank you Lord for the good week. I’m just glad it’s all over now.
