Last Saturday during our devotion in praise and worship team, our devotion leader asks, “If you were to ask God for anything, what would it be?”
Others answered… vacation, wisdom in decision making,a long life…
I answered, SECURITY. Security in every aspect of life.
They look confused so I explained further.
Security that makes you happy with whoever you are and whatever you have. Financial security, not being rich, but having enough money to get through everyday. And one more thing that I forgot to say which is the most important, Security, that puts away all doubts about my faith in God.
I bought this lipstick at the newly opened branch of Etude House on SM City Dasmarinas last monday. I’m quite disappointed because when I tried it at home, it doesn’t look as good on me as when it did on the store. The lighting there must have affected the color of the lipstick . *sigh. But it’s not that bad.
You know our relation is like a roller coaster ride and most people can’t see it. I still thank you for the love and for keeping up with me. I know we both carry a lot of scars from everything that had happened to us but I believe that we can still make it. Just wait and see, we have bright future ahead - a good career, then later, a nice home with two kids. We just have to stay strong, place God between us two and prove those people who don’t believe us wrong. I love you always.
I’m jealous of moms and daughters that are so close to each other that they can tell each other anything. I can’t remember ever opening up about my crushes to you. But from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for everything. For all the sacrifices you did, I will repay them someday.
P.S I still think you’re the best mom in the world.
Few photos from Outbreak Manila last Apr. 14 2012.
I woke myself up at 3:00 am. At 5am Jules fetched me at our house because our wave will start at exactly 7:30 am and we have to be there one hour earlier. Before the race starts, i had a stomach ache and I thought I wasn’t gonna make it through the race. Fortunately, I made it through!
We’re part of wave 9 where most of the weirdest costumes can be found. Mcdonald, Son goku, a guy with a box on his head and another guy with just towels on and shaving cream on his face XD and many other more.
It was fun and at the same time nerve wracking being chased by zombies. There were lots of obstacles and lots of water stations/safe zones too. The only time I got to relax was when my last flag has been taken (which btw is just a few meters from the finish line). Unfortunely, me and Jules finished “‘DEAD”. We could have gotten a medal because we’re part of the first few who finished the race. But all is well. The experience is priceless.
I SURVIVE MY FIRST 5K RUN!
(me wearing the “I SURVIVED THE OUTBREAK SHIRT”)
We headed to Brother’s burger for lunch with Jules’s friends. Went to festival mall and played some arcade games. We managed to collect lots of tickets with few tokens that we have. Lucky me! For dinner, we went to ATC to try Banapple. Unfortunately, they were lots of people on the waiting list so we ate at Pepper Lunch instead.
Every now and then we often visit this korean store near our school to buy ice cream! The ice creams there are so much better than MAGNUM and yet on a much reasonable price. They have all sorts of ice creams~ ice cream sandwich, drumsticks and many other more.
Mine is strawberry and vanilla flavored while his icream is chocolate pinipig flavor with chocolate syrup inside. His pick is much much cheaper, double the price = my strawberry and vanilla ice cream. But I have to say I like his pick is much more delicious ~_~ You won this time, just this time. =))
I’ve been hearing a lot of reviews about this film that I’ve been dying to watch it. Actually, between the two film by Tom Six, I would prefer to watch the first because madman there seems to be more convincing. But now that I’ve been reading reviews, the second has more “blood and shit.” Last sunday, during our stay in Tagaytay, my brother asked me if I want to watch The Human Centipede 2, I immediately said Yes! and he let me watched it on his laptop.
The film is in black and white which made it even scarier. It has a really unique theme. Different from saw and hostel. At one point, I wonder if the madman was really cutting those tendons of those people’s knee because they look so real. Some would say that it is sexually violent and potentially obscene. No wonder it had been banned to be released in some countries! But it’s just my type of movie. Two words, Bloody Disgusting!
3 days without internet - I survive! Last (Good) Friday afternoon after our church activity, we immediately traveled to Calatagan, Batangas. It only took us about 2.5 hours to get there. When we got there, there was no electricity! It was so frustrating you know. We we’re so excited to see the beach but it was so dark. But it didn’t stop us from getting at least our feet wet. After an hour I think, the electricity went back but I was so tired to go for a swim so I just fixed myself and go to sleep.
The next morning, the beach was so beautiful that I cannot afford not to swim. We collected star fishes and sea shells.
There came a man selling lobster for 350 each.
Saturday afternoon, we traveled from Batangas to Tagaytay. It took us nearly 5 hours. :( Super heavy traffic.
We then stayed on this beautiful rest house few meters from picnic grove. (unfortunately, i forgot to take a picture of the place) We stayed there for 2 days.
Monday morning, I met with my groupmates in thesis for a meeting. It was just a short one. We finalized our topic and to be honest, I’m really excited about it, “Spidertech Tape.” Right after, me and Jules had lunch at Mcdonalds.
You know why, I want their apple pie! I’ve been craving for it for days. Boyflea originally want to go to ATC again and have apple pies at Banapple. But I refuse because we’ve been there twice last week. I give the mcdonald’s apple pie a 7/10. I took out the fillings and just ate the crust. lol.
Last satuday when he and his family went to MOA, he asked me what do I want. I said I want to Chef Tony’s popcorn! He gave me the list of flavors. I said I’m torn between White Choco Parmesan and the Belgian Butter, but choose the belgian butter instead.
He bought both of them instead. Haha. Which is not so bad at all.
White Chocolate parmesan is really good! Especially when you happen to get the yellow ones, they’re cheesy good!
Haven’t opened this one yet. I’ll tell you guys if it’s good next time. :)
Doom Shroom and Sun Shroom. We haven’t gotten over plants vs zombies yet. Hihi. He said it symbolizes us. And Of course, I’m the sun shroom. :)) And oh, he also gave dog biscuits for my babies. How thoughtful.
I feel bad because I don’t have anything to give him. Last week I cooked tuna pasta and tacos for him. Next na lang ulit, Jules bawi ako~
I remember my first day in college. It was raining and I’m having lunch with people I barely knew. I just wanted to go home and if possible, just go back to highschool. I missed my highschool life so much that time. I’ve heard a lot about college…that it’s not as fun as highschool. I believed in that actually, for a time.
All I’m saying is that life does not end when highschool ends. I’ve been reading a lot of post here on tumblr and on facebook on how incoming college freshies are not so hyped about where they will be going. Of course, you will miss your HS friends. You can still get together once in a while. But I tell you, college is a much bigger world. You get to meet a lot of people. New experiences. New adventure. On my opinion, college is more fun, but my highshool friends will always be the best.
